A Senior High School Teacher who wishes to be promoted (to Teacher III) will be subject to the Revised Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of other Teaching, Related Teaching and Non-Teaching Positions (DepEd Order 66, s. 2007) as stated in an unnumbered memorandum in the Schools Division in Central Visayas.

According to the Department of Education's Promotion Guidelines, these guidelines shall apply to the appointment and promotion of Teaching (and related teaching group) such as: Teacher II and III... and other related teaching positions indicated in the Magna Carta for Public Schools Teachers - except School Heads - Principals and Head Teachers and all Non-Teaching Group.
