Planning lessons is fundamental to ensuring the delivery of teaching and learning in schools. The guidelines stipulated in DepEd Order 42 series of 2016 aim to support teachers in organizing and managing their classes and lessons effectively and efficiently and ensure the achievement of learning outcomes.
A Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) is a teacher's "road map" for a lesson. It contains the following parts: Objectives, Content, Learning Resources, Procedures, Remarks and Reflection.
