September 2015. The Department of Education, thru its division office in Dasmariñas, Cavite, has started the application period for senior high school teachers for the school year 2016-2017.
In his recent interviews, Secretary of Education Bro. Armin Luistro mentioned that the government will be hiring around 30,000 new teachers for the pilot year grade 11.
He said that the available items should be enough to cover the HEI faculty and personnel who will be displaced once the K-12 program is fully implemented.
